STUCK IN MY CAR WITH THE GO-GOS!!!!

This Just In:

Tomorrow, the female fab five hit the road for their annual concert jaunt. They will start things off in Redding, CA. and end it all on August 11th in Fukuoka, Japan. Their concert on July 23rd at the Orange County Fair in California is already sold out. Opening that show will be another famous band from the 80's, The Motels.

Unfortunately, due to my financial situation, I will not be able to see any of the shows this time around. I will be missing them for the first time since they reunited the third time around in 1999.

The Jane Wiedlin Quote of the Month!!!

I found this quote from Smokinggun.com. This quote came from an interview Jane and Charlotte gave to Spin Magazine when they commented on bands covering songs from the 1980's. Here Jane gives her take on Alien Ant Farm's cover of Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal:

"The singer of this band is hot-hot-hot! I saw them on the Warped Tour, and they're really good. But I'm not sure if I would have listened to this particular song if they didn't have that great video to go with it. It always helps when a young hottie shakes his ass and there's a monkey involved."

All I know is when I read the above quote, I was laughing my butt off!!!
