 This Just In:
Are the Delphines still a band? Inquiring minds want to know. It has been about nine months since
Kathy became a mother but reports we have been getting is that Dominique is concentrating more on her other band Drag and
Kathy is paying attention to her upcoming solo album.
If and when The Delphines do get back together, you will definitely read about it here. We will
also report on Kathy's and Dominique's activities outside the Delphines as well. However, reports from e-mails I have
been receiving from the agency that represents them in Austin, Texas, report that they are open to playing festivals and there
is a video available. Like I said, if I hear anything about the Delphines as a band, you will read about it here.
It looks like that despite early rumors, Kathy will be on the road
with the Go-Go's when their US Tour begins on August 8th. It will be the first time she will be performing with them since
March 6, 2002 at the Vic Theater here in Chicago. I will remember that night forever, especially after when she walked into
the upstairs backstage area, the first person she made a point of saying hi to was me!!!! I hope to have the chance
again someday, maybe in Eureka!!!
We shall see!!!
